AN EXCLUSIVE MODEL OF THE CALIBRE RW1212 SKELETON RAYMOND WEIL PERFECTLY COMBINES BOLDNESS, INNOVATION AND ELEGANCE
For the WatchTime event in New York City, RAYMOND WEIL unveils a new version of the Calibre RW1212 Skeleton as part of the freelancer collection, completing the range it presented last March for the Baselworld trade fair. In 2017, the RAYMOND WEIL brand launched its first in-house movement, the culmination of its close collaboration with the movement manufacture Suisse Sellita. Once again, this year, the Swiss watchmaker asserts its ambition for innovation, revealing a skeleton model of the Calibre RW1212 that brings more depth and technical ingenuity to this exclusive in-house movement.
The freelancer Calibre RW1212 Skeleton is a two-handed model equipped with a self-winding mechanical movement that beats to a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and features a 38-hour power reserve. Nestled in a 42 mm titanium-coloured steel case, the openworked baseplates of the Calibre RW1212 are coated with an innovative NAC treatment in a deep shade of anthracite for a bold, virile look. Its oscillating mass, engraved with the RAYMOND WEIL logo, has also been openworked to offer a full visibility of the workings within the watch. The dial features a wide opening that reveals the entire mechanism, offering a view of the balance wheel at 6 o’clock and revealing the full beauty and technical achievement of this movement, of which the beaded finish enhances the watchmaking expertise of RAYMOND WEIL. #PrecisionMovements #CalibreRW1212Skeleton
